About Me

I completed my undergraduate degree in Psychology and my Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology at Near East University. At the same university, in the Doctoral programme of the Department of General Psychology, I have successfully completed my coursework and doctoral qualifying examination and am continuing with my doctoral dissertation.

I completed my Positive Psychotherapy training at the Wiesbaden Academy of Psychotherapy. I also completed training in Tobacco, Alcohol and Substance Addiction with The Association for Addiction Professionals. In addition to my internships in developmental and clinical psychology, I have attended various seminars and continue to pursue scientific work.

I worked for one year at Etik Kyrenia and Etik Hospital Nicosia. Between 2017 and 2022, I served on the Board of the Turkish Cypriot Psychologists Association. Since 2016, I have been serving as General Coordinator in the Administrative Staff at Near East University and as the responsible Clinical Psychologist at the Psychological Counselling, Guidance and Research Centre. Since 2017, I have also continued individual psychotherapy sessions at Kamiloğlu Hospital. Alongside traditional face-to-face therapy, I provide an online therapy option for those who prefer remote access—a practice that began with the Covid-19 pandemic.
